When to apply : February,2015 How to apply: Notification comes in the month of January by ONGC Videsh Ltd. Apply by 28th February through the training coordinator of college. The result will be out by mid April. Finance : My college provides funds up to INR 50k per student for attending various international conferences and internships. Food: If you are a vegetarian, then it will be difficult for you. Topic of the project : Multi stage Hydraulic Fracturing. Experience: During my first week, I was assigned to a team working on a multi stage hydraulic fracturing project. My mentor, a seasoned petroleum engineer named Dr. Neeraj Kumar, introduced me to the intricacies of fracturing operations, , emphasizing the importance of safety and environmental considerations. As the weeks went by, I found myself participating in real-world projects, from well log analysis, geology of the area, mini frac, to studying fracking fluid properties. Each day was a blend of theory and practice, as I learned to apply my academic knowledge to practical scenarios. The final days of the internship were bittersweet as I bid farewell to the friends and mentors who had guided me throughout the journey. The experience had not only honed my technical skills but also taught me the value of collaboration, perseverance, and innovation in this dynamic field. Next inline : I will be sharing my Statoil Internship Experience. #energyindustry #energysecurity #energytransition #oilandgasindustry #petroleumengineering
