Study 1 describes the effect of a certain drug on lung injury. Published in 2021 and cited by 9. Study 2 decribes the effect of a certain drug on colon cancer. Published in 2020 and cited by 7. Both studies show the same western blot bands (for different proteins). None of the authors of both studies overlap.
