Hi Network! So as you may or may not know, I coach American Football for the Great Britain National Team! British American Football Association We have a home game in October against Germany, and it requires a great deal of funds. Around £15,000 as a baseline. So the team has set up a kickstarter to help alleviate some of these costs for the players and to help fund the game. We must reach £7,500 otherwise we lose all the money. Any donation large or small would be incredibly helpful. Not only would it be helpful, but because it’s a kickstarter, you get things in return depending on how much you donate. Each player is aiming to raise at least £70 each, so anything that helps me towards that total is appreciated. Here is the link to donate, if you need help, or have any questions, let me know: https://lnkd.in/ezQez89i

Today, December 26, is Boxing Day This is a public holiday in many countries with historical ties to the British Empire, including the UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Name Origin: Charity Tradition: The term "Boxing Day" likely comes from the practice of giving boxes of gifts or money to servants, tradespeople, and the poor. In wealthy households, servants would work on Christmas Day to prepare for their employers' festivities and were allowed the following day off to celebrate with their own families. Church Connection: Another theory ties the name to alms boxes in churches, which were opened on December 26 to distribute donations to the needy. Modern Celebrations: It has evolved into a day of shopping (akin to Black Friday in the U.S.), sports events, and family gatherings. In some countries, it retains a charitable aspect, with donations or volunteering. #AmiablelanguageServices #teachinglanguages #boxingday #traditions #celebrations

Money for a good cause and the opportunity to win a trip to the Monaco Grand Prix for just £10. Surely worth clicking see more. Last year our MD saw an incredibly moving report on BBC News about 3 Dads who lost their daughters to suicide. With young daughters of his own, it really resonated and we wanted to know what we could do as a business to do our little bit. The dad's in question were on a fundraising journey for 'PAPYRUS' - a charity supporting the Prevention of Young Suicide and raising awareness in general about this, up until recently, taboo killer. So we thought we could put some funding their way. Suicide is, unbelievably, the biggest killer of men under 50 and women under 35 in the UK. Sadly as young man in that demographic, I am certainly in the not unique position of having been touched by this issue directly. This can happen to anyone. So to do our little bit we began a series of charity raffles… So far Berkeley Red have raised, with the help of our network, over £50,000 for Papryus and this has helped fund their 24/7 Helpline - helping hundreds if not thousands of people from making the worst decision. And here’s the latest way of supporting: Just £10 per ticket to enter and you can buy as many as you like - plus there’s free ticket bonuses. It’s quite a prize! LINK TO ENTER IS IN THE COMMENTS! Appreciate money is tight for many so if you can’t stretch to the £10 you can help with a like & a comment to spread the post… FYI the prize on offer is: 2 Places on the following Monaco Grand Prix VIP Taster Experience ✅ 4 Nights at a 4* Hotel , Nice ✅ Friday - VIP SUPERYACHT hospitality for a full days racing including F1 practice. ✅ Saturday at leisure to explore the region or viewing upgrades available ✅ Sunday - pre Grand Prix lunch with wine in Fontvielle Harbour, Monaco ✅ Sunday Reserved Grandstand seat for the Monaco Grand Prix 25% of all proceeds will go directly to Papyrus with the remainder going towards the physical costs of supplying the package & our operating costs. Appreciate your support folks! LINK TO ENTER IS IN THE COMMENTS
