I am begging people to practice basic empathy. Let's be real here, technically, a lot of us are not in life saving work (and by this I mean literal medical fields and first responders). We work in entertainment where we market products. We show off cool things and cool people. Neither of which is really THAT important in times of trauma and tragedy where people are just trying to survive while potentially losing everything.
Stop pressuring LA residents for answers to your emails immediately. Take a step back and consider that, even if someone in the industry doesn't live and work out of LA, that they are worried about friends, family, and clients who ARE in LA.
Empathy. Patience. Grace.
