I did NOT expect to ever see this post (below) when I first agreed to do a talk at an away day, setting people up for the afternoon session where they were being asked to have a first go at drafting a draft potential impact case study (my phrasing, not the university's). After that away day, I thought, what I said there might be useful to others, too, so I asked Mark if he'd be interested in this for his free workshop series. Now over 500 people have signed up and it's still 6 months to go until the workshop! In the meantime, I've also run versions of this workshop for other universities - if you can't make the date (or can't grab a ticket before they run out again??) you could suggest inviting me directly, and integrate the workshop into your REF2029 preparedness planning or whatever shape this takes in your institution.
