Congratulations to Jim Gomez on his promotion to Materials Manager! In a recent 1:1 with Jim, he shared with us what he most enjoys about working at MEI and his favorite value that encompasses MEI’s cultures and values. "Since joining the team here at MEI, I have been amazed at the organizations passion for what they do. Their passion for customers and products is second to none. I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know not only the business and it’s customers and partners, but the people that continue to practice the organizations core values daily. Ethics, Passion, Quality, Integrity and innovation are key to the continued success of the company and I couldn’t be happier to be a part of it."

MEI participates in the annual Scare Hunger Away event for the North County Food Bank. Each year we have a competition to see which team will donate the most peanut butter to the cause. Our Electro-Mechanical Assembly, PCB Assembly, Testing and Facilities departments won the competition, which was lead by MEI's self appointed peanut butter queen, Cynthia Pastoral, Production Manager. This year was MEI's biggest donation ever. Collectively MEI donated 13,408 ounces. We love giving back to our communities while having a little fun and friendly competition
