The Oregon Trust is currently offering some incredible incentives for certain energy efficiency retrofits – but only for a limited time. These retrofits can provide significant energy savings, but the upfront costs often make facilities hesitant to pull the trigger. That’s what makes these rebates so valuable – they can drastically reduce the capital expenditure required. Energy Management in particular HVAC this time of year is on the for-front. Through exstensive momotoring and automation it shows we can knock of points off consumption until the heat subsides. The capital investment in your systems is such where the goal should be substainability and understanding the real world science first. When a building automation system has the lowest let through voltage in the Industry that TPS provides feeding these systems filtered; it is now a born out fact that a CE can double the life cycle if caught in time, eliminate down time and reduce the maintainece costs that are budgeted; up to 80% validated. Feeding HVAC systems clean power does not happen out of osmosis. I’ve witnessed first hand in Atlanta, Chillers going down during my process of conducting assestments. Rebuilding a Chiller or replacing these RTU’s has become throwing good money after bad - in 70% of our buildings, before their time. It is a matrix of upkeep and repair that does not have to exsist in a facility any more.
