Liz and Hannah here 📢 Greetings from Gundy! 📍Yelarbon Silos to be precise. If you're following our stories, you might think we've gone on a quest for the best scone of the west, but truth is, we're travelling all around Southern Queensland Country to talk about branding. The scones have been a pleasant surprise though! So far, we've run 7 focus groups and talked to more people than we have all year. Aside from learning lots about the destination, what we've really learned is that there's never a bad time to get aligned on who your customers are and why they visit you. Even if you're not in a period of rebranding, it's a powerful exercise to bring your team together and ask these questions.👇 ✔️ Who visits your region? ✔️ What do you offer visitors? ✔️ Why do they come? ✔️ How do you want to stand out? If you're thinking of re-branding, but are short on budget (we get it!), we wrote this blog just for you 👉 https://lnkd.in/d3itSVNf

Director of MD Public Relations | Runs PR/social media campaigns for organisations wanting to reach diverse communities via the Black Church | Public Speaker | Editor
I was inspired to create the infographic below after wandering through Westfields Stratford. Whilst window shopping I stopped at a Khiel, an upmarket skin product shop. I wouldn't normally buy products from this company, but reading their start-up history, their business journey and product innovations which was printed on a pop-up in their display window left me intrigued and interested enough to visit their website. It also made me realise there's absolutely nothing wrong with utilising your business history in your PR strategy. In fact it's a good thing to do. Any business that's been around for five years or more should be sharing details of their progress, product innovations, special anniversaries (5, 10, 15, 20, 21, 25, 30, 35, 40, 50 etc) and leveraging their history to generate publicity, raise awareness of business products and services and increase sales. Use anniversaries to host celebratory events Celebrate your product innovations to get publicity and attract new customers Share details of your experience - how long you've been working in your industry, the clients you've worked with and your milestone achievements. The infographic below - provides some ways businesses can leverage their history in their PR.

Soon I will be sharing the behind-the-scenes of developing my own personal brand! My team has been pushing me to do this for YEARS! To be honest, I didn't think that others would want to hear my story. Now I realize that my story is what drives my purpose and defines my values. How I serve is drawn from my experiences. My purpose as CEO of Wakefield Brunswick was clear. As Angela Devlen -- much less so until now. I have been working on several things that will launch in 2024. My story was instrumental to the process. So, I will be sharing the process and lessons learned as I continue. Questions? Lessons learned you want the real truth about? Just ask.
