CELL HANDLER 2 is a cell picking and imaging system set to launch in March 2025. The research was conducted by the 1. lékařská fakulta UK, Fakultní nemocnice v Motole, the Czech Metrology Institute, Radalytica a.s. and ADVACAM Cameras. ThyroPIX is better than standard imaging methods because it ✅gets closer to the concerned area ✅offers higher resolution image ✅scans the thyroid gland in a fraction of the time ✅is small and mobile. The device is not yet ready for commercial use. The head needs to be modified to get even closer to the neck, and further software development is also planned.
