Reflecting on an Exceptional Experience at MedCon 2024 I recently attended my first MedCon Conference in April, organized by AFDO and RAPS, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. Here's a quick review and some highlights: ➡️ Unique Format: No exhibitors allowed, fostering richer networking and better FDA participation, with 18 talks by FDA speakers. ➡️ Intimate Networking: From the casual cocktail receptions to the structured round tables, the setup made it easy to connect and build relationships. ➡️ Memorable Annual Dinner: Held at the Columbus Center of Science and Industry (COSI), offering a perfect mix of networking, food, and fun. ➡️ Diverse Breakouts: Covered Digital Health, Pre-market, and Post-market topics, though it was tough to choose between parallel tracks. ➡️ Engaging Panels: Featured discussions on FDA updates, digital health reviews, global harmonization, and more. ➡️ Real-time Interactions: A rare opportunity to ask FDA officers questions directly. Koispace Fam, As we prepare for our February 27th virtual meetup, we wanted to share an important update—this will be the final Coffee Chat gathering. When we kicked off our very first chat in February 2022, it was intended to be a short pilot—just a few sessions. But the community and conversations blossomed, leading us to continue the biweekly meetings for nearly two years! Members from around the world have come together during this time to exchange stories, knowledge, laughter, and support. While we've cherished the Chats, we also recognize opportunities to make something even better. In particular, we want to focus on two areas of improvement: •Creating a more inclusive format accessible from anywhere, across different time zones •Providing more meaningful opportunities for professional development Though this chapter must come to a close, our journey continues. The Koispace patient network is evolving to create more meaningful opportunities, like an exciting new service facilitating virtual introductions between patient experts and pharmaceutical/health tech companies. Of course, the group camaraderie does not end here. We invite you to stay engaged through other platforms like KoiSpace Plus and remain a vital part of this community.
