Medici con l'Africa Cuamm/ Doctors with Africa CUAMM’s Post

🔎 Tutti i dettagli sull'intervento in South West Shoa Zone: bit.ly/4jKqNO2 ------ 25 years ago the construction of St. Luke Hospital in Wolisso, Ethiopia, marked the beginning of a long-standing collaboration between CUAMM and the health authorities of the South West Shoa Zone. Since the beginning, the hospital has provided maternal and child health services while promoting community medicine across the whole district of Wolisso. Today, we continue to work with local authorities to strengthen the management of diocesan health facilities throughout the country. In early January, Guteta Degefa Buta, Head of the Health Office of the South West Shoa Zone, has publicly recognized CUAMM’s work for its "extraordinary contribution to strengthening the health system, reducing preventable maternal and child morbidity and mortality, and preventing and controlling communicable and non-communicable diseases in the Southwest Shewa Zone." A recognition that showcases the perseverance of CUAMM commitment alongside the Ethiopian health authorities and remarks the ongoing challenge to ensure the continuity of long-term development interventions in a context increasingly focused on emergencies. 🔎 More about CUAMM's work in SWSZ: bit.ly/4hwqhRw #MediciConlAfrica #DoctorsWithAfrica #Cuamm #SouthWestShoaZone #SaluteMaternoInfantile #MaternalAndChildHealth
