Global Nurse Leader | Helping C-Suite healthcare leaders reduce costly overtime, burnout, and high resignation rates while improving staff engagement in 45 days | Book Your FREE ‘Work Smarter NOT Harder’ call: Link ⬇️
Freedom, flexibility, and financial gains initially drew me to travel nursing, and working through a healthcare travel agency like Leaderstat has amplified these benefits. With Leaderstat, I've had the opportunity to explore various healthcare facilities across the country, allowing me to test my clinical and leadership skills in diverse settings. The flexibility to choose assignments that align with my interests and schedule has been invaluable, enabling me to maintain a healthy work-life balance while pursuing my passion for nursing. Additionally, the financial rewards have provided me with stability and the means to support my lifestyle and future aspirations. Through Leaderstat, I've found a supportive partner that not only offers exciting career opportunities but also prioritizes my well-being and success. After 40,000 miles of travel as a consultant, I've learned a few special lessons: when you put people first, you make a difference, and "making a difference" shows up in many ways. For example, I've witnessed how a simple act of kindness can brighten someone's day, whether comforting a resident in pain or lending a listening ear to a colleague in need. Additionally, I've seen firsthand the impact of effective leadership on team morale and patient outcomes. By prioritizing empathy and collaboration, I've fostered a supportive and positive work environment wherever I go. These experiences have reaffirmed my belief in the power of human connection and the importance of putting people at the heart of everything we do in healthcare. Working through a healthcare travel agency has amplified these benefits, providing me with the freedom, flexibility, and financial gains to continue making a meaningful difference in the lives of residents and colleagues across the country. #HealthcareConsultant #RegisteredNurse #DirectorOfNursing #SkilledNursingFacility #HealthcareLeadership #NursingManagement #ClinicalExcellence #LongTermCare #QualityImprovement #PatientCare #NurseLeader #HealthcareConsulting #CareCoordination #HealthcareStrategy #NursingConsultant #ElderCare #HealthcareOperations #HealthcareProfessional #NurseConsultant #HealthcareManagement

Founder and CEO at Excel Medical Staffing | Navigating Leaders and Growing Teams | Innovating Medical Staffing Nationally
Strategic leaders in the healthcare industry need to keep an eye on the current market conditions. In the travel nursing market, there is a new normal that we see weekly. It's important to remember that this is a people business and we make a difference one clinician at a time. At our company, we frequently remind our amazing team of this. Thanks to Staffing Industry Analysts for this excerpt. Travel nurse. The travel nurse segment reached its peak in 2022, growing to more than six times its 2019 market size. SIA forecasts this segment will contract 30% in 2023 and continue to decrease by 5% in 2024. The travel nurse segment experienced extraordinary growth during 2021 and 2022 and the contraction in market size is more of a pullback after the peak brought on by intense demand related to the pandemic. Health systems are taking steps to reduce their contingent spend by decreasing their utilization of travel staff. However, reliance on staffing firms continues to play out in the healthcare staffing industry as demand for healthcare services remains elevated and vacancies from leaves, retirement and burnout persist. https://bit.ly/48yqUpL #wecare #sia
