What do Amazon, Airbnb, Ikea & Netflix have in common? (HINT: It’s the main reason they’re household names today) 👉 Speed to market They all had a game-changing idea and moved on it quickly. Speed to market is so important because: 1️⃣ First mover advantage Being first to market allows you to establish brand awareness and capture market share before competitors even launch their product/service. 2️⃣ Shape perception By being the first to introduce a new solution, you have the power to define the conversation and influence how potential customers perceive your offering. 3️⃣ Gather customer feedback Early releases allow you to gather real-time customer feedback and iterate on your product or service, ensuring it truly meets market needs. Your offering could be on a V2 or V3 before your competitors launch V1. 4️⃣ Boost morale and momentum Achieving a successful launch can energise your team and propel your business forward, fostering a culture of innovation and growth. 5️⃣ Not just staying ahead of the curve, but defining it Innovation is key. A slow pace to market can leave you vulnerable to disruption from agile competitors. Moral of the story: If you think you’ve got a good idea. Move on it fast because chances are somebody else has had the same idea…

🙊 Is Your Product Onboarding Failing? 👀 The reasons might not be as obvious as they seem. Once when I joined a new company and analyzed user behavior during onboarding, I quickly realized that the process was irrelevant to users — it didn’t align with their immediate goals. 😱 But my biggest revelation came when I hit the field. During a meeting with a courier and a new client, I discovered that a significant portion of users skipping onboarding was influenced by the couriers’ objectives. They were eager to guide clients directly into the app to complete specific actions. Naturally, the couriers encouraged users to skip onboarding by claiming there was nothing worthwhile in it for them. 🙈 This is a reality we often overlook! What about you? Have you encountered similar situations? Share your experiences below! 👇💬 #ProductManagement #UserExperience #Onboarding #CustomerSuccess #FieldInsights #Activation
