7moasalam o alikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh State Bank of Pakistan should exercise its authority and instruct all conventional banks (with Islamic Branches) to allot existing Muslim account holders a new Islamic account in their bank’s Islamic branch and the new Islamic account be operateable from the customer’s existing branch as well to expedite the process of implementing Islamic banking system in favour of injunctions of Islam since the same is favouring the Maqasid Shariah of protection of religion
