Just like openings for great accounting roles in your firm aren't always available, the best candidates aren't always looking. If you are always looking, you maximise your chances of finding an exceptional accountant when they start looking. You must also be ready to employ them as soon as they become available. Oh someone said it finally!! Most companies have made hiring processes so difficult that I think most of the amazing talent never hits the apply button. Those who do, mostly never make it past the BS requirements we have put with the role, which basically reduce the %-age of amazing talent ever hitting the eligibility.. I was going through Meta's hiring process and it seemed way easier and simpler than the perfectionist overkill done by some companies which stops great talent to ever make it past their "firewall". #HR #hiringprocess #productmanagers
