A new approach to urinary tract infection detection A fascinating study in "NPJ Digital Medicine" by Alex Capstick et al. shows how noninvasive monitoring of daily activities can provide insights into urinary tract health. UTIs are a challenging problem in elderly individuals, particularly those with limited mobility. This study a great example of how seemingly trivial data (when properly collected and adequately analyzed) can uncover early signs of disease, helping reduce the burden of an illness that, in this case, may be severely debilitating and even fatal. #SaMD #clinicalevauation #regulations #evidencebasedmedicine #digitalhealth

Outstanding new #Sjogren Disease guidelines from UK. Should be shared with all #consumers at risk (#CARs), and #PCPs, not just Rheumatologists, and considered by other countries' guidelines #globally. Hopefully this also will stimulate more pressure on real #cures, not just #symptomatic ones, and earlier and better risk assessment and monitoring for #lymphomas.
