Don’t panic! That’s my first bit of advice if a prospect has objections to your proposal. It’s never easy, but it does offer the chance to deepen your understanding, refine your approach, and create a solution they’ll love. This is how I do it: Acknowledge their objection: Listen carefully to understand their concerns without interrupting. This approach shows respect and ensures you grasp the full scope of their issues. Empathise and relate: Explain that you understand their concerns and show you have a real grasp of the issues they raise. Tell a brief story of someone you helped with a similar challenge. Isolate the concern: Set a clear goal and ensure you can address everything all at once. For example, “If we can resolve this issue, will you be able to move forward today?” Celebrate: “I have some great news!” Get excited when you have overcome their objection because the solution they now have is perfect for their needs.  Do you have a tried-and-tested way to deal with client issues?
