Clearly, the #WindPowerPackage released yesterday by the European Commission 🇪🇺 isn't about governments picking favorites or industries begging for help. It's all about getting the basics of #technologyleadership right: a thriving domestic market, efficient supply chains, a skilled workforce, cutting-edge tech, IP protection, strong trade ties, and fair competition. The #WindPowerPackage is therefore welcome news as it is key to level the playing field and it's imperative for member states to implement it promptly. #energytransition #windpower #gevernova

This is why we presented today a European Wind Power Package, which includes an action plan to double annual additions of wind (up from 16 GW in 2022), address the challenges in the wind manufacturing industry, and a roadmap to meet our #offshorewind ambitions of 111 GW by 2030.
