As stated in a recently published article in DBDH’s Hot & Cool Magazine, Large Thermal Energy Storage (#LTES) solutions are a game-changer for district heating and other large-scale applications – and we couldn’t agree more. Both high- and low temperature storage technologies are key in securing a stable and cost-effective energy supply in the future and likewise, vital in achieving both security of supply and energy independence. Large-scale energy storages enable the decoupling of production and demand and thereby assist in stabilizing the energy system while minimizing the expensive peak load production. We are proud to have been part of the LTES project in Høje Taastrup – a great example of both flexible and efficient sector coupling of electricity and district heating. #ChangingEnergy #PTES
