You’re more than just an aspirant- Don’t let the vicious cycle of UPSC define your future! The world around you will always whisper, “Just one more try, you’re so close!” But when the tide turns—and it inevitably does for 99.9%—you’ll likely find yourself facing the storm alone. It's time to break free from the chains of this emotional trap and think rationally. I made a conscious decision to step away from the UPSC cycle after three attempts, and that choice opened doors I had never imagined. From acting as strategic advisor to nation’s top politicians inclusing MPs and ministers to leading impactful political consulting projects, I found fulfillment and purpose beyond the exam. The world has evolved. There are countless avenues—multilateral organizations, top consulting firms, lateral government entry—that offer not just financial rewards but deep, meaningful impact. And these paths can be equally, if not more, fulfilling than the Civil Services. In my recent interview with The New Indian Express, I shared some of these opportunities and how Rebounce has been a lifeline for ex-UPSC aspirants, helping them transition into careers that truly matter. If you are also struggling to come out of the vicious cycle of UPSC and need support and mentorship, book your free mentorship session with me: https://lnkd.in/gR3HWXkc Together, let’s carve out a future filled with purpose and potential. Tomorrow marks my first month LMP Group LMP Education. Wow that has flown by! ( What’s the saying; time flys when you’re having fun!) Reflecting time: The decision to move from a company and a role that I was comfortable working in and enjoyed was always going to be a tough decision but I can honestly say that this is a decision that I don’t regret. 🙏🏻 Living by our core values, learner focused and passionate about learning are just 3 things you hear every employer say they do, but do they? At LMP these are just 3 reason why you should look at our roles available, as we really do! #recruitment #trainingprovider

UPSC is not 'just' an exam, it's an emotion ! Many of us decide to get into full time preparation for UPSC because of the power, prestige, name and fame associated with the job. A District Magistrate in our society is practically considered the king of the District (of course metaphorically)! For this reason, parents encourage their kids to prepare for UPSC. The relatives and neighbours start taking special interest in you if they get to know that you are preparing for UPSC. You yourself are under some pressure given the expectations from people all around you. This mix of pressure and expectations creates a situation where it becomes really difficult to get out of this cycle if things don't work for you. Every time you deliberate on moving on, there is someone in the family or friends circle who will say - "ek baar aur" (one more time). You are just not in a situation to make an objective call whether you should invest another year into the exam or move out. I am sure most of us who have been part of this journey and moved out of it experienced the same. And I am also sure that there are many out there still part of UPSC journey who are unable to make this decision - whether to keep going or move out and explore other career opportunities. If you are one of those who are unable to decide objectively or are not able to figure out your PlanB, book your free mentorship session at https://lnkd.in/gTB2Z5Pb or reach out to us on whatsapp (8287474964) or mail us at jigyasuagarwal@gmail.com. We at Rebounce have been through this experience and can guide you in making an objective decision. Today, I wanted to address a topic that has been a point of curiosity for many and a point of reflection for me – *the two-year career gap in my resume.*😅 During this time, I dedicated myself wholeheartedly to preparing for the UPSC examinations. And what might seem like a "gap" on paper was, in reality, an intensive period of learning, growth, and self-discovery. 📚💪 Here's what I gained during this transformative period: 1. Intellectual Fortitude: Preparing for UPSC honed my critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills. The daily grind of absorbing vast amounts of information has significantly enhanced my intellectual capabilities.🤯🧠 2. Resilience and Perseverance: The UPSC journey is a marathon, not a sprint. Enduring setbacks, facing challenges head-on, and persisting through adversity taught me resilience and the importance of staying focused on long-term goals. 🏃♀️🍲 3. Time Management: Balancing a rigorous study schedule with maintaining a healthy lifestyle required meticulous time management. This skill has proven to be immensely beneficial in maintaining a work-life balance. ⌛ 4. Continuous Learning: The UPSC preparation journey is an ongoing commitment to learning. It instilled in me the habit of continuous learning, adapting to new information, and staying informed about the world around us. 📖🌍 While the dream of cracking the UPSC is still very much alive, I also recognise the importance of integrating these newfound skills into a professional setting. I am always eager to leverage this unique blend of experiences to contribute meaningfully to a dynamic team.🤗 #upsc #upscexam #upscpreparation #upscaspirants #careerdevelopment

Ever wondered why we are so captivated by the stories of Civil Services toppers? I stumbled upon an insightful article that delves into this very question. With the recent declaration of the UPSC results, the nation is once again swept up in the wave of admiration for the toppers. Ravi Kapoor, an 𝐈𝐑𝐒 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫 turned mentor, sheds light on this phenomenon. He suggests that the allure lies in the transformation of ordinary individuals into esteemed officers. The media coverage, the inspirational stories, the struggles, and the triumphs - all contribute to the hype. But there’s more to the story than meets the eye. Kapoor highlights the bravery of UPSC aspirants. It’s not just about conquering one of the world’s toughest exams. It’s about the journey, the resilience, and the commitment to serve the nation. So, the next time a UPSC topper’s story catches your eye, remember the sweat, the dedication, and the bravery that fueled their journey. And if you’re an aspirant, let their journey inspire you, not just their success. What are your thoughts on this? #upsc #civilservices

According to what I found online, following your interests is what really helps you succeed. Sure, the UPSC is great achievement but very hard as well , but there are lots of other ways to do well in life. Let's start finding all the different ways people can be successful, okay? So, here's to doing what makes us happy and leaving those old stories of struggle behind. #UPSCResults #FollowYourPassion #DifferentPathsToSuccess 🌟🎓
