Are you wanting a career change? Or just advice as you consider a change? Since I just recently did this- 😃 May I offer advice here 😃 partnerships is key! Learn all you can on how to build strong real relationships with other areas within your company. Learn whatever strikes your fancy at the moment! With each job I was offered I was wanted due to partnership building skills. The one I chose was due to it being in my strongest strength (people -purpose-passion first) fitting my new lifestyle (a true work life balance-I have hobbies now!) & being willing to learn (it all!) Also- I was coached through my new career hunt by some wonderful people. Some of the best advice: 1-It usually takes 7-9 weeks to land offers & once they start rolling in they all seam to come at once 2-Accept the offer ONLY when its a job you are fully passionate about and it fits ALL/Most of your wants. Trust me that jobs out there! 3-Dont panic apply to eveything! 4-Remember MONEY ISNT LIFE-life is what you do with your money!

Balancing your career and personal life can be a great challenge. While each gets more demanding, we need to approach with intention and take inventory. There is no getting away from the countless obligations that having a job brings with it. Although most of it is positive and uplifting, we can easily become overwhelmed when momentum seems to turn and push against us. The same can be said for our personal lives. We are changing each year, whether we want to or not. This can lead to some new challenges socially, with friends, family and our partners. Ask yourself these simple questions:  What is truly important to me?  What can I let go of or postpone?  Who can I reach out to for help? If you still need help, get in touch with me and I will help you to work through this delicate balancing act of life and work.

Often we talk about our work and jobs. But do you know the difference? A job is those things you do to have an income, earn money and ensure your livelihood. Work is the thing you do that gives you meaning, a purpose. It's how you add value. Having a healthy balance in both work and job can give you a succesful career. If you're feeling stuck at work - have you ever wondered about the meaning of the activities that you do? Do you 'just' have a job? Or do you find you are adding value, undertaking meaningful activities? Or do you have purposeful work but can't make a good enough living? It is really important to reflect on this as it can lead to your job or work being a stressor. As we are approaching the end of this year take this as a 5 minute exercise to dive into your current situation. Do you have job, work or both?

But if you do not inhibit the second, the first will present itself to you naturally. In the words of this great career coach, once you move to the right business opportunity “that has your name written all over it”, you will wonder why you spent so much time fearing and thinking about others’ expectations of you. Swim in your sign and embrace the current! Give up going against it! If it feels toxic or cumbersome, it’s not for you. If it is the reason you cannot wait to wake up in the morning, if doing it for you is like living out your passion, you will excel regardless of circumstances.
