Another major mixed-use development has been approved by the City for Richmond — this time for a large site just next to Richmond Olympic Oval, reported Daily Hive. "Earlier this month, the development permit panel approved Landa Global Properties’ proposal to redevelop the 3.5-acre site of 6851-6871 Elmbridge Way — located immediately south of the Oval’s main entrance and immediately west of the T&T Supermarket Ora Store." "Replacing existing warehouse buildings, there will be three buildings up to 15 storeys, with the primary use being residential with a total of 376 homes. This includes 341 strata market condominium homes and 35 below-market rental homes. Additionally, there will be a hotel with 214 guest rooms and 15,000 sq ft of ground-level retail and restaurant uses to activate the surrounding streets. Great Gulf is planning another condo along West Palm Beach’s Intracoastal Waterway - a 32-story tower at 5400 N. Flagler Drive. The redevelopment of the three-acre site will replace the Poinsettia Club Apartments with 87 upscale residences and amenities like a pool deck, a waterfront restaurant, rooftop and third-floor entertainment spaces, pickleball courts, and six guest suites. Sharing my favourite penthouse layout from GTC, it has two entrances: one access directly to the main living room and another offering more private access to the master bed room. The master bed room includes its own dedicated living room, allow owner to avoid the visitors waiting in main living room and meet certain ‘special’ guests in their own living room. 🙂 OK, be honest, that's not the design intention, we did that because we're considering having Ascott manage our apartments, but they are firm about not accepting four-bedroom units due to rental challenges. So, we have this design with flexibility in mind. If Ascott becomes our apartment operator, we’ll convert this four-bedroom unit into a three-bedroom and a one-bedroom instead 🤣

$300M Landmark Project coming to St Kilda Road! Orchard Piper, in partnership with The Carter Group, has revealed The Carter Building, a $300 million mixed-use development on St Kilda Road. This iconic project will combine luxury living with the convenience of five-star hospitality, featuring 54 premium residences and a 107-room boutique hotel. Designed by the internationally acclaimed Kerry Hill Architects KHA, the building offers one, two, and three-bedroom residences, with prices starting at $850,000. The project also includes two expansive penthouses, a wellness centre with a pool and gym, and seamless hotel-style amenities like concierge, valet, and housekeeping services. Orchard Piper Director Luke McKie describes the vision as "blending the privacy of a premium residence with the convenience of a five-star hotel." Demolition begins on $220M Southbank Tower! Demolition has commenced at 42 Moray Street, Southbank, paving the way for the 56-storey Moray House project. Construction is scheduled to begin in January, with completion expected in early 2027.
