Melbourne Build Expo’s Post

The huge $1.1 billion redevelopment of the Frankston Hospital in Melbourne. 👀   The major redevelopment of the Frankston Hospital will transform care in Melbourne's South East. Once operational it will provide capacity to treat an additional 35,000 patients a year.   Its now completed façade is made up of 4,485 glass, terracotta and porcelain panels. 3,911 of these are on the clinical services tower and 547 on the car park.   The redevelopment also includes a new paediatric zone for the emergency department; a new rooftop helipad; solar panels; new spaces for mental health and oncology services; expanded children's services and 15 new operating theatres.   Completion is due later this year.

Thanks Bill for bringing this post to our attention. Kudos to you and everyone involved.
