12 months ago, we predicted 2023/24 would be a huge milestone for RED Construction Group, and we’re proud that we’ve met that and more, with a turnover over the £100m mark for the first time. Across the financial period, from 1st April 2023 to 31st March 2024, we have maintained a pre-tax profit margin of 1.7%, while taking turnover to nine figures, at £115m. RED continues to deliver targeted revenue and achieve sustainable profit, exceeding last year's forecast of more than 60% growth for 2023/24. Our CEO, Graham Sturge MCIOB commented: “Whilst we celebrate this, we’re also very conscious of the volatility of our market. Our focus for the coming year remains the same – risk management, stable growth, and supporting our supply chain partners. With contracts secured and work underway that will guarantee more growth for 2024/25 – alongside our ongoing relationships with clients, new partnerships, team growth, and project delivery across London, the South West, and beyond – we’ve built a sustainable platform to serve one of the biggest industries in the UK with excellence in the years to come.” Read more via Construction Enquirer: https://lnkd.in/etr3cbQE #FinancialResults #Construction #ConstructionSector

A picture is worth a thousand words, and in the world of construction, going modular is essential. However, the choice of materials and techniques is crucial, as it can significantly impact the ability to produce a cost-effective product and generate profit. Much of today's building technology seems almost designed to fail. Imagine if cars, planes, trains, and containers were all handcrafted from wood—this illustrates the construction industry's dire need for standardization and the application of mass production principles. By adopting these simple strategies, we can reduce costs, boost productivity, and restore profitability. Our innovative second-generation VEGO building technology enables the production of robust, energy-efficient building components from our new SF composite (steel foam). This technology allows for the construction of one small house per minute or 24,000 square feet per hour within a 200,000-square-foot factory built using VEGO components. You can design layouts in 400mm increments, up to 10 stories high. Moreover, we are developing the capability to extend this up to 50 stories.
Modular construction continues to struggle in its ability to meet the UK's demand for housing and commercial construction as witnessed by this latest factory closing. #modularconstruction #mmc #uk The Hon Richard Evans 🇬🇧 Chris Nicely Sarah Noel Vaughan Buckley Ben Hershey Bill Murray Margaret Whelan Jennifer Castenson John Ace Underwood https://lnkd.in/epkWWPYt
