Part One is live! Thanks to the Kentucky Association of Chiropractors for this opportunity to share with peer reviewers and clinicians about how to use functional outcome measures to demonstrate medical necessity. This first webinar in the two-part series addresses questions like: 1. How much change in an outcome score is enough to suggest improvement? 2. How might a peer reviewer or provider determine that a patient is getting better even though the change in an outcome measure score doesn't quite demonstrate a "clinically meaningful" improvement? 3. How can providers select appropriate functional measures for their patients? 4. How can providers use functional measures to set treatment goals? 5. When might a functional outcome measure score suggest that active treatment is over? 6. How can peer reviewers draft informational and compliant denial rationales for their reports? 7. Should peer reviewers address all possible denial reasons in a peer review report, or just the main reason for the denial?
