Based on research published by Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), jobs in the renewable energy sector are set to explode!! This is great news for the System One Renewable Energy team! System One has a vast supply of experienced candidates with solar and wind farm experience and has a training center in Houston focused on certifying wind turbine technicians! Highlights from the SIA article: - Globally, SIA estimates that the renewable energy industry will add nearly 10 million new workers by 2030, and many of these roles will require workers with skillsets that are highly specialized or in high demand, providing great opportunities for companies operating in the workforce solutions ecosystem - Wind power offers the second-best opportunity (after solar), as it is expected to generate a further 15% of all new jobs in the sector through 2030. Like solar, wind has a sizable manufacturing component that boosts the need for workers along the supply chain.

2025 #RenewableEnergy #Hiring Trends Predictions (Election dependent!): Strong Job Growth in Solar and Wind Energy 🌞🌪️ Solar Energy: The Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) in the U.S. has created a favorable policy environment, providing tax incentives for residential and utility-scale solar, which will sustain demand (Unless Mr Trump graces us with his Presidency).. Wind Energy: Offshore and onshore wind projects are expected to boom, especially with major offshore wind projects under construction or in planning phases along the U.S. East Coast and in Europe. Technological advancements and governmental commitments to large-scale offshore wind projects will lead to more jobs in engineering, construction, and ops. Technological Advancements and Digitalization 💻 As renewable energy projects adopt more digital tools, the market will require talent with skills in data analytics, software development, and AI integration. Expansion of Green Hydrogen and Energy Storage 🔋 Green Hydrogen: Investment in hydrogen production using renewable energy is increasing, particularly in the U.S., Europe, and parts of Asia. This sector will require specialized roles in R&D, production, and infrastructure development as hydrogen technology scales up. Energy Storage: Energy storage, particularly battery storage, will see job growth due to the increased need for grid stabilization as renewable energy penetration grows. Skilled roles in battery technology, installation, and grid integration will be in demand. Talent Shortages and Skill Development 🙋🏼♂️🙋🏾♂️ While there’s expected job growth, the renewable energy sector may face talent shortages, particularly in technical roles such as electricians, engineers, and skilled construction labor. Increased Focus on Sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) 🌳 More companies are prioritizing sustainability, which will push demand for professionals in ESG roles within the renewable sector. Companies will require specialists to assess sustainability metrics, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive corporate environmental initiatives. Global Supply Chain and Manufacturing 🏢 The expansion of renewable energy infrastructure globally will put pressure on manufacturing jobs related to the production of solar panels, wind turbines, and batteries. There may be further efforts to localize manufacturing to avoid supply chain disruptions. Regional Growth Trends 🇺🇸🇩🇪🇨🇳 North America: The U.S. will continue to be a leader in renewable energy job creation, particularly in states with robust renewable energy policies such as California, Texas, and New York. Europe: Countries like Germany, the U.K., and Spain will see growth in offshore wind, solar, and energy storage jobs. Asia-Pacific: China will remain a dominant player in renewable energy manufacturing, with other markets like India, Japan, and Australia experiencing solid job growth in solar and wind sectors. Place your bets on which ones come true… 🎰
