Look at this 3-blade propeller, a critical component used to propel ships through water by converting rotational energy into thrust! It has been manufactured with Meltio’s cutting-edge #additivemanufacturing tech! Traditional propeller #manufacturing often struggles with #material waste, long lead times, and casting #defects. But #Meltio’s technology changes it all! ✅ 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞: Only the #material you need, directly deposited thanks to Meltio's near-net-shape capacity! ✅ 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞-𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩 #𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Complete propellers, no assembly required or welding individual blades. Skip the molds, castings & machining steps! ✅ 𝐍𝐞𝐚𝐫-𝐧𝐞𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐞: Less post-processing, faster results. ✅ 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 #𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲: No casting flaws like porosity or shrinkage. ✅ 𝐄𝐧𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 #𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡: Superior fatigue and #corrosion #resistance thanks to Meltio #materials properties. Say goodbye to traditional limitations—experience #efficiency, #durability, and #performance! 🔓Check Meltio's #applications! https://lnkd.in/d5dMyqg7 #3dprinting #metal3dprinting #metaladditivemanufacturing #3dprint #additivemanufacturing #manufacturing #3dprintedmetal #metal3d #innovation #technology #metal #welding #metal3d #AM
With that small radius applied during manufacturing the steady state and fatigue stresses on the blades will cause blade failure at connection in a matter of weeks. May want to study the use of correct radius and Fillets.
Love it And I have a doubt in this it almost looks like 3d printing what is the actual process done here ?
Awesome product
Very cool. I’m curious of the print speed this is at along with wire size used.
