A very engaging event last week, at Africa's largest renewable energy exhibition, the Solar & Storage Live & The Future Energy Show Africa held in Johannesburg. I extend my heartfelt thanks to my esteemed panelists: Craig Morkel, Kadri Nassiep, Sowunmi Olabode II, and Danen Beemadoo, for their invaluable contributions during our session titled: 'Matching Ambition with Reality: Executing Africa’s Share of Renewable Electricity to 64% by 2040 – How Do We Get There?' It was a stimulating discussion that shed light on crucial pathways for achieving our renewable energy targets.
I also had the pleasure of interacting with numerous industry experts and was delighted to meet several colleagues, including Steven Mathetsa, Ph.D (Pr.Nat.Sci). Lastly, I extend my gratitude to Carol Mukendi and the entire Terrapin team for their outstanding efforts in organising this event. Looking forward to continued collaboration and progress in Africa’s renewable energy journey.
