🌟 Reflecting on Our First Week at The Excel Center! Aurora, CO 🌟 What a week it’s been! As we kicked off our adult high school classes at The Excel Center, we were met with a mix of nerves, apprehension, and determination—both from our students and our dedicated teachers. It’s completely normal to feel a bit anxious when embarking on such a transformative journey. But here’s the incredible part: we’ve made it through that challenging first week together, and the progress is palpable. We’ve seen those worried faces transform into smiles, and we’re witnessing the beginning of meaningful connections and inspiring “light bulb” moments. Our mission is clear: to empower adults with the opportunity to earn their high school diploma and open doors to new career possibilities—whether it’s certifications, college, or a new job. Each student’s journey is unique, and every step forward is a step toward a brighter future. A huge thank you to everyone involved—students, teachers, and supporters—for your commitment and resilience. I graduated from high school... 🎓🥳 In 2022, I was a below-average student. Low grades, no focus, etc. I was one bad test away from failing. In 2024, I graduated with the second-highest scores in my class despite hating school. How? By obsessing over a goal. My ultimate goal this year was to graduate high school and be able to work on my business full-time. And because I wanted it so badly, it was all I focused on for the last couple of months. And it paid off! This works in every area of life. Business, working out, school, etc. If you set a goal for yourself and obsess over it, your chances of achieving it skyrocket.
