Other organizations that serve populations of that size, their ranks are more represented in their own staff; is this a problem, staff or former staff remaining committed to your cause? Your need to work with or without Governement Services Administration/GSA.gov, the ways that work would need to appear managed and synchronized are working at cross-purposes with the public relations work you would normally be recognized for. Your organizational transparency has clients appearing seditious to the most concerned, and your responsibility for the disappearing concerns about victimization in your network of clients creates the simultaneous belief your real interests align with the families of the clients for your organiation, without showing concern for eliminating client family concerns. You've also put your organization into conflict with the portions of the health system involved with behavioral health, where your clients' interests in a path forward, given the options available to them, fail to intersect (the work to create new pathways being unsuccessful).

We had a lot of important conversations at the VALID Having a Say Conference last week, particularly around making a complaint. We understand that making a complaint can feel uncomfortable but remember that it’s OK to do so. It’s important that disability workers know when you aren’t happy or if something is wrong. Making a complaint can assist disability workers to make positive change in their work and practice and is a great way to improve the quality and safety of services for everyone. The Commission can deal with your concerns about a disability worker’s behaviour or quality of their work. Our complaints service is confidential and we can take action if something is not right.
