Clinical Hypnotherapist, Hypno4children (accred) EFT (Adv) & CPCAB Breathwork Tutor & Coach, IEMT Practitioner. Specialising in Trauma in children & adults. Online or In Person sessions. Supporting you in times of need.
As children’s Mental Health Week continues, this year’s theme is “my voice matters” helping young minds to feel safe to voice their emotions, feelings and worth is vitally important to their wellbeing and mindset. In a world that is often hidden behind a keyboard or smartphone it can be hard to be heard. Hard to be understood and even impossible sometimes to be a voice that is distinct among others. I work a lot with children and young adults helping them with confidence and self belief to value that voice and how it matters not only to them but also the world around them. Enabling them to communicate in a supportive way and to empower all that they wish to communicate. As an accredited @hypno4children practitioner I work specifically with young minds from primary age through to young adults. Working with MINDHACK to look at how the growing brain works and with a therapeutic toolbox that is bespoke to the young person I’m working with. I have also taken CPD in EFT tapping with children to enable a wide range of support. If your child or young person is struggling with any aspect of experiencing the world around them, I have the the understanding and experience to support and create an environment to allow them to explore and discover their own amazing ability. For all bookings during children’s mental health week I offering 25% off my usual fees. To discuss your child’s needs and way forward. Get in touch for a complimentary 15 minute consultation call, in confidence to discuss how I can help support for the changes you are seeking, and book your own 1-1 session either online or face to face. Or if you would just like to know more, drop me a DM, email or visit my website https://lnkd.in/ej7MyFmn #wellbeing #mindset #positivity #parentandchild #change #changeyourmindset #egoboosting #confidence #selfcare #childrensmentalhealthweek #corebelief #eftpractitioner #emotionalfreedomtechnique #emotions #hamshiretherapist #clinicalhypnotherapy #phionahutton #havanttherapist #mindfulmomentstherapies #online #facetoface #appointment #changeyourlife #family #hypno4children #myvoicematters

Celebrating Children's Mental Health Week! This Children's Mental Health Week, we're all about empowering our children to not only recognize their mental well-being but to actively participate in the conversation about it. At Wise for My Size we believe that mental strength is infinite and we are dedicated to giving every child the tools to grow confident and with love for themselves. Here are some of our favorite tools and habits to start practicing. 🔄 Positive Routines: building habits that bring joy and balance. Whether it's a morning dance party or an evening mindfulness activity, positive routines lay the foundation for a resilient mindset. What one positive habit could you start to do everyday after dinner? 🗣️ Speak Kindly to Yourself: Words matter! What you say to and about yourself matters. Developing the habit of positive self-talk. Let's create a world where they lift themselves up with words of encouragement and kindness. Say some kind words in the mirror each morning before school. 🎨 Draw Your Feelings: We know talking about the BIG Stuff can feel challenging, however art is a wonderful way to express your emotions. Start by encouraging your child to pick up those crayons and draw out their feelings, then ask them to tell you all about their picture. 🌠 Share Your Big Dreams: Every dream, big or small, deserves to be heard! It is so easy for us as adults to squash a big dream because we don't think its practical, sensible or will not earn enough money. So park all those thoughts and give your child the platform to share their aspirations. Let's listen, support, and nurture their dreams together. You could share what your BIG Dreams were when you were little. 🎯 Set Goals and Achieve them: Goal-setting is a superpower! We're guiding our young trailblazers to set achievable goals and celebrate every step towards success. It's not just about the destination; it's about the incredible journey. This Children's Mental Health Week, let's champion the idea that every child has a voice, and that voice is powerful! Together, we're creating a space where mental well-being is not only acknowledged but actively shaped by our amazing little minds. Share with us how you're celebrating Children's Mental Health Week! Let's amplify their voices and inspire one another. 🚀💙 #KidsMatter #InfiniteMentalStrength #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek

Director at JLTS | Writer of therapeutic stories | Domestic abuse advocate | Systemic practitioner | Safeguarding advisor | Lover of dogs, dad jokes, and sarcasm
#ChildrensMentalHealthWeek Who doesn’t love a story?! Reading a story together is a great way to connect with your kids and create safe spaces for open and honest conversations. At JLTS Family Services, stories are one of our favourite and most effective tools… we use them to connect with and co-regulate* young people who are struggling to manage in a moment. Often, simply getting a book out and inviting a young person to share a story is enough to shift a mood. If the story you offer to share is a therapeutic one, then all the better! JLTS has published five therapeutic stories and Once Upon a Shoebox is the latest. It is a bespoke story, written for twin girls (who love it, btw!) and it’s about the importance of having good friends and a strong support network when we need or want to try something new. It’s also about dreaming big… Watch out for posts about our other stories and our Story Sacks (which include loads of lovely resources to support emotional and mental wellness) this week! If you can’t wait that long, here’s our website: https://lnkd.in/eecVrFTX 💙 *When our calm meets their chaos, co-regulation occurs #Education #TherapeuticPractice #TherapeuticStories #EmotionalIntelligence #Connection #ReadingTogether

🧸We're proud to support Place2Be's Children's Mental Health Week! 🌟 This week let's come together to shed light on #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek, a cause that helps to create a brighter future for our young minds. 🧠💖 Why it's important!🚨 1 in 5 children and young people have a probable mental health condition, and many continue to have these problems into adulthood. By prioritising children's mental health, we empower them to overcome challenges, build self esteem, and cultivate a positive outlook on life. How can we support children's mental health? 🫂 1. Open Dialogue: Encourage open conversations about emotions, fears, and aspirations. Let them know it's okay not to be okay! 2. Promote Mindfulness: Introduce mindfulness practices to enhance self-awareness and coping mechanisms. Simple exercises like deep breathing can make a world of difference. 3. Create a Supportive Environment: Create spaces where children feel heard, accepted, and valued. Building strong connections with family, friends, and educators is key. 🌟To donate visit https://lnkd.in/eS-CYy_V In need of help? May is Mental Health Awareness Month and our team at Anderson Center Consulting and Training has a TUESDAY TIP that might be useful! Autistic and neurodivergent individuals, like all of us, often become very stressed when experiencing sensory overload. There are actually many ways to help "deactivate" the central nervous system - among them: deep breaths. If a child is unable to follow directions, perhaps model the behavior of breathing in and out slowly over the course of two minutes - inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth (have the young person blow on his/her/their hand on the out breath). If breathwork feels like it's not working well, another option is to go for a "mindful" nature walk, pointing out the colors you see and the sounds you hear along the way. If the child is able to verbalize similar responses to the environment, encourage that he/she/they communicate those observations Mindfulness can really help reduce stress, which can make life so much brighter. May children, parents, and caregivers alike all take some time on a regular basis to enjoy meditative activities that soothe the soul! Our team from Anderson Center Consulting and Training is always here to help offer other ideas to decrease stress and build resilience - during mental health month and all year long! Get ready to mark your calendars, because Children's Mental Health Week is from 5-11 February 2024 with the theme: "My Voice Matters". Have you ever stopped to think about the immense impact of supporting children and young people to express themselves? When we give them the space and opportunity to be heard, amazing things happen. Their voices hold the power to transform communities and enhance their own self-esteem. This year, let's join forces and support the mental health and wellbeing of children from all walks of life. Regardless of age, background, or ability, every child deserves the chance to say - and truly believe - "My Voice Matters". As we embark on this meaningful journey during Children's Mental Health Week, I'd like to share one of my favourite quotes: "If you don't listen eagerly to the little stuff when they are little, they won't tell you the big stuff when they are big, because to them, all of it has always been big stuff" - C.M. Wallace. Let's remember that even the little things matter. By listening attentively to our children, we create a safe and supportive environment where they feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and emotions. Together, we can make a lasting impact on their lives. So, get ready to spread awareness and support our youth during Children's Mental Health Week. Let's amplify their voices and ensure that their needs are acknowledged and addressed. Together, we can be the change our children need. #Childrensmentalhealthweek2024 #MyVoiceMatters #SupportOurYouth #mentalhealthawareness
