Let’s Talk About Reducing Stigma for #MenMentalHealth Challenging the stigma associated with mental health is crucial. Society needs to shift its perception of masculinity to include emotional expression and vulnerability as strengths rather than weaknesses. Public awareness campaigns, education, and advocacy can help normalize conversations about mental health and suicide. #WellnessPride

Today is World Mental Health Day, a day to raise awareness and promote mental health advocacy. One of the simplest yet most impactful ways we can support mental health is by being kind to one another. A simple act of kindness can go a long way in brightening someone's day and lifting their spirits. Whether it's a kind word, a listening ear, or a small gesture of support, showing kindness can make a world of difference for someone who may be struggling with their mental health. Let's all commit to being kinder to one another, not just today but every day. Together we can create a more compassionate and supportive world for those facing mental health challenges. #WorldMentalHealthDay #BeKind #MentalHealthAwareness #itsoknottobeok #itsgoodtotalk

Author | Behavioral Health Specialist | Creative Technologist & Content Strategist | Mental Health and Neurodiversity Advocate |
As a trauma-informed professional in mental health advocacy, I've witnessed firsthand how upbringing can uniquely shape those with neurodivergent experiences. But what often remains unseen is the silent trauma carried into adulthood. 🌱 Trauma in neurodivergent people can often go unrecognized, because their reactions & coping mechanisms might deviate from the 'norm'. This can lead to feelings of isolation and misunderstanding, intensifying the trauma. 🔍 I've learned that acknowledging this trauma is the first step towards healing. You can't effectively treat the symptoms without understanding the person behind them. It's about giving a voice to those internal struggles that were often misinterpreted or overlooked. 📚 If you're looking for deeper insights, check out my books on mental health and personal development. 🔗 https://amzn.to/47JZ08Z #MentalHealthAwareness #Neurodiversity #TraumaHealing #EmpathyFirst #telieshasharee #monarchcreates #monarchci
