Are you struggling with mental health? Are you experiencing homelessness? If any of these questions resonate with you, I invite you to watch this talk. I spoke vulnerably to the Lighthouse Mission Ministries in Bellingham, Washington about my life story, mental health journey and the success that I have built since my diagnosis of Bipolar Disorder. I highlighted 5 components that have helped me continue to build momentum and finding success in my life to not be a victim to my circumstances but rather asking myself hard questions about how to be optimistic and changing my inner narrative about myself. The five components that I discussed include: 1. Develop self awareness 2. Confide in someone you trust 3. Take charge of your life 4. Accept change 5. Be patient for changes to come I drew from real life examples that have taught me these hard lessons.
