Although both registered nurses and nurse practitioners focus on patient observation and care, the largest difference between the two roles is that NPs are permitted to prescribe treatments, order tests, and diagnose patients—duties normally performed by physicians—whereas RNs are not. Registered nurses, on the other hand, usually work under a physician who determines patient care, diagnoses, and follow-up. : Read more in this link ⬇️ https://lnkd.in/grZX9jPV : #topic #womenhealth #goldcoasthealth #collaborate #gcwomenshealthnetworkingpage #womenshealth #healthandwellness #practitioners #womenempowerment #womensupportingwomen #educate #awareness #supportwomen #paidpartnership #nurse

Emotional intelligence and compassion are the #heart of nursing. It's not just about clinical skills, it's about connecting with patients on a personal level, providing comfort, and upholding their dignity in vulnerable moments. 💙 Whilst we lately, often emphasise technical expertise, we need to shift the narrative. While clinical skills are vital, #empathy, listening, and patient-centered care lead to better outcomes and more meaningful patient experiences. 🤝 Nurses aren’t just caregivers—they're advocates for humanity. 👩⚕️👨⚕️ #Nursing #CompassionInCare #HealthcareTransformation
