For the first time in Formula 1 history, all team principals and drivers will gather under one roof to reveal their championship contenders. Traditionally, teams have unveiled their new cars and drivers individually at their home bases before the first race. However, that approach is being set aside next year as Formula 1 plans a grand event where all 10 team principals and 20 drivers will collectively present their 2025 championship challengers. This milestone event is part of F1’s 75th-anniversary celebrations and is set to take place at London’s O2 Arena on February 18, 2025. This marks the first time in the sport’s history that all team liveries will be unveiled simultaneously, let alone in the same venue. Mistakes happen, but it’s about how you deal with them that matters. The cockpit of a GT3 racing car is an environment where errors result in leaving the track at an alarming pace. I got bitten by this McLaren today, but the important thing was getting back to the paddock and understanding what I did wrong before heading back on track. Comprehending our shortcomings, while embarrassing at times, is the only fuel to move forward and results in progress. Just another example of lessons learned in mororsport. #motorsport #cars

A good example of something short and sweet: With two days of prep and two days of shooting on stage. A few weeks of pre, and a few weeks of post. This trailer used a mix of shot types: - Live Action - ICVFX in-camera, straight off the stage - ICVFX with live action and traditional VFX enhancements - 100% rendered shots from Unreal Engine Art directing with Unreal Engine played an important part in driving key design decisions early in the production process, setting the foundation for the rest of the project. It was also a strong reminder that planning your sequences in advance is super valuable, regardless of the shoot's size. I was really impressed by how the different shots came together in the final edit. One of my favorite aspects of using Unreal in the process is how it allows you to critique shots in pre-production, that are in-fact the final shot, with final assets, and final lighting, but still real-time. Everything was evaluated in the context of its actual lighting and the plan for the shoot day---TURNTABLES BE GONE! This was a collaboration between Feature, Orbital Studios, and Narwhal Studios. Shout-out to Safari Sosebee (creative directing at Narwhal) and Dallas Drapeau (crafting those worlds), Natasha Derouchie (coordinating the project) along with Grant Fitch, Steven Ilous and AJ Sciutto.
