Pharmacy Education Support Specialist at Novant Health

As I reflect on the past year—the darkest year of my life—I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the resilience that carried me through. Living with neurodiversity, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and anxiety is a journey that demands courage, patience, and relentless self-compassion. It has not been easy, but I’ve learned that even in the hardest moments, there is always a glimmer of hope waiting to be nurtured. 2024 tested me in ways I never imagined, but it also reminded me of the strength we all carry within. I’ve come to understand that progress isn’t always linear, and setbacks don’t define our worth. Each step forward, no matter how small, is a victory. As a certified Mental Health First Aid provider and emotional health advocate, I am deeply committed to supporting others on their journeys. I am here for peer support because I know how crucial it is to feel seen and heard. The first step is reaching out, and together, we can navigate the challenges toward a brighter future. As 2025 begins, my hope for myself and for others is continued well-being and the unwavering belief that we are worthy of healing, joy, and peace. To anyone navigating similar struggles: never give up on yourself. You are not alone, and every effort you make to care for your mind and soul is a testament to your incredible strength. Here’s to a new year of growth, understanding, and thriving together.
