The Widewail team has been working hard for the past few months… And we’re excited to share our first annual Voice of the Customer Report 🎉 The VOC Report uncovers what makes car dealership customers happy, the top priorities of buyers and how trends are changing over time. We analyzed 800k reviews from 16k new car dealerships and here’s what we found: ⭐The #1 driver of positive reviews is staff ⭐Poor communication in the service department is the top issue in negatives ⭐Price is mentioned 4.7x more often in negative reviews than positive reviews. ⭐The average rating of reviews mentioning EVs was 4.30, lower than the industry benchmark ⭐Tesla’s negative review percentage is 32.5%, worse than average Unlock the full report to see which operational changes you make have the best and worst impact on customer sentiment. 👇Link in comments

Calling all automotive professionals in my network! It's that time of year -- the Reputation Automotive Report was released today! Here are some of my favorite takeaways! If you are in the automotive industry-- take note! These are trends that you can't afford to ignore! 🚘 Customer Feedback Drives Business: 84% of consumers deem dealership reviews crucial, and 74% insist on a minimum 4-star rating. Meanwhile, 40% of consumers are likely to provide feedback in a public forum like a review site. 🚘 Review Volume is Soaring: Year over year, review volume increased by 11%, and 2023 marked peak review volumes across all major sources of review locations when compared to the last three years. 🚘 Interest in EVs: There is a 60% increase in review volume for EVs over the past two years, and in the UK, 29% of EV buyers have made their purchase decision after engaging with a dealership. 🚘 The Gen Z Factor: 93% of Gen Z use reviews to make purchasing decisions, and are twice as likely (17%) to have their choice of dealership influenced by social media versus the general population (8%).
