All the charge time information you need! 🔌 The charge time for your car depends on your vehicle’s battery size and how full the battery is when you plug in. Many people think in terms of “how many miles of range do I get for each hour of charging?” ie miles per hr (mph).  Here are a range of examples: Tesla 3 (30mph), Mini-electric (29mph), VW ID3 (26mph), Volvo XC 40 (22mph), Jaguar I-Pace (20mph), Mercedes EQV 300 (15mph). So an 8hr charge gives between 120 and 240 miles of range: more than enough for almost any situation. In the unlikely event that your battery is empty here are a range of examples of “empty to full charge times”: Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV (13.8kWh: 2hrs), Mini-electric (35kWh: 5hrs), Tesla 3 (75kWh: 10hrs), Jaguar I-Pace (85kWh: 12hrs), Mercedes EQS 450+ (108kWh: 15hrs). #FastAmps #Alpha7 #EVCharging #ChargingSimplified

🚗 J.D. Power 2024 Vehicle Dependability Study Highlights 🚗 The J.D. Power 2024 U.S. Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS) reveals a decline in vehicle dependability after three years of ownership. The study finds that nearly two-thirds of brands experienced increased problem rates, highlighting a 17% surge in issues from the first 90 days to three years of ownership. “Historically, VDS model results mirror the results of the respective model year in the J.D. Power Initial Quality Study, so a deterioration of vehicle dependability is unusual," says Frank Hanley, senior director, auto benchmarking, J.D. Power. Despite the industry's challenges, Lexus and Toyota Motor Corporation emerge as leaders in dependability. Lexus ranks highest among all brands for a second consecutive year, and Toyota leads the mass market segment. Toyota North America recently announced the recall of their Toyota Tundra and Lexus LX. Impacted Tundra and LX vehicles are from the 2022-23 model year. The recall is due to machining debris potentially left in the engine during production. As a result it could lead to engine knocking or loss of power while driving, which could lead to a crash.
