I´m really enjoying the privilege of being a judge of the #internationalloyaltyawards again this year. I´ve been on the judging panel for the past 7 years and the incredibly high standard of the entries across all categories never cease to inspire me. As you can imagine, I´m bound to confidentiality while the judging process is ongoing but here are some aspects that have really impressed me so far: 👉 The move to Dubai this year really has made the International Loyalty Awards a truly global event. It has been inspiring to review more entries than ever, not just from the Gulf states, but also from the African region, India and the Asian Pacific too. 👉 Stand-out programs across the categories have understood that #customercentricity is key to deepening their insights into customers' wants and desires. 👉 There´s no doubt about the importance of technology for staying ahead of the pack. However, on its own it´s not enough to drive growth. It´s great to have so many entries from brands with a company-wide data strategy for ensuring emotional and personalized communication that really engages throughout the customer's lifecycle.
