One question we frequently get is... how long does it take to get matched with job opportunities? 💼 Here's a quick rundown of how applicant processing and matching works behind the scenes. 👇 As soon as you are added to our talent pool, our placements team reviews your application to check if your skills match any of the jobs we are currently recruiting for. If you're a good fit, we send you an email 📥 to gauge your interest, and if you're interested, we initiate the next steps in the vetting process for that job ⏭ You can read more about what that entails in our previous post here: https://lnkd.in/gbSNVi3s What if your skills aren't a good match for any of the jobs we're currently looking for? No worries! Once you're added to our talent pool, you're never removed from it 😅. That means that your profile will always be visible to our clients! How many clients do we have? Mercor has placed talent with over 50 companies, from YC-backed startups to leading AI unicorns 🦄, and that number is just the beginning! We have an entire team dedicated to finding more opportunities for people in the Mercor talent pool 🤩. Want to try and get into the Mercor talent pool? Apply at work.mercor.com

One question we often get is what the process looks like for someone in our talent pool 🌍 after a company expresses interest in their profile. Here's a quick explainer 👇 First, you'll never be asked for a resume or basic details about yourself 📜 . Companies have access to your Mercor profile which has your resume details as well as your AI interview. Just keep your Mercor profile updated and every company will automatically have access to the latest version! 🕓 Second, if a company expresses interest in your profile, you'll receive an email about the opportunity and receive complete clarity about what the vetting process looks like to be considered. 💼 By asking companies to shortlist applicants, we ensure you're only matched with high-quality opportunities where the company is genuinely interested in hiring you. ✏ Here is what we commonly see for the different types of companies we work with 🏢 : For startups, the vetting process after someone's Mercor profile has been shortlisted will usually consist of one or two 30-minute verbal interviews with the team. 🤝 The process sometimes includes a short take-home assessment for candidates that make it to the absolute final stages. 📎 For large enterprises, we've seen that the process usually includes two to three highly technical interviews where you will be asked to do a task on the call. 📞 For example, enterprises hiring software engineering talent have had a focus on DSA-style interviews where candidates are asked to complete coding questions in real-time. ⏰ One of our goals at Mercor is making our AI vetting as awesome as possible so that companies don't have to rely on conducting their own interviews and candidates aren't asked to spend time on long application cycles. 🚀

I was in the pre vetted pool but little do I know that I again have to give the interview and all? Why is that so?
