Doing a kind act for others can add so much to our day and others. It can be as simple as keeping the door open for a stranger, saying a genuine thank you to a colleague, or sending a text to a friend that will brighten their day. What I’ve come to realize is that being kind to ourselves is also important to how we feel and show up. Adding grace to the self-talk we have, practicing self-compassion, and finding kindness toward ourselves is just as important as showing kindness to others. #kindness #makekindnessthenorm

The negative things that happen to you are very real. The politics, exclusion, and all crazy-making tactics that make you question your self-worth. They DO happen. You can’t fix the world that happens to you. But, what you can is accept that it does and will continue to happen, and move on. Build your shell around your sense of self, and go numb to those who do that, and embrace with open arms those who start with kindness first. Kindness and understanding are not signs of weakness. They are signs of a healthy and well-adjusted human being. Protect that kindness!

**In business, at home with your significant other and kids, or in a group of friends are you setting an example? ** **Do others look at you and see what your doing and are inspired? ** **Do you have that story that by sharing someone else going thru a similar situation is guided? ** **Do you genuinely care about others around you enough to drop what you are doing to help? ** To be honest? Stand firm in morals? We are here for a short time. Let’s make it count with what really matters! Titus 2:7 “And you yourself must be an example to them by doing good works of every kind. Let everything you do reflect the integrity and seriousness of your teaching.”

Such a simple, but powerful message.
