Support Services employees who are celebrating 15+ years of service at Mercy were recently honored at the annual Support Services Milestone Celebration! It was a night filled of joy and celebration. Department attendees included Housekeeping, Food Services, Security, Operator Services, Central Sterile, Maintenance, Patient Transport & Supply Chain. We simply could not successfully give excellent care to our patients without these teams and are grateful for their outstanding contributions to the Mercy family. Special shout out to Ms. Willie Mae & Ms. Betty for celebrating 50+ years of service to Mercy. Bravo!

Today is National Pet Fire Safety Day! 🔥 As the temperatures rise, so does the chance of fires…keep your pets safe with these helpful safety tips! Did you know… ❗️A house fire is reported in the U.S every 80 seconds! ❗️40,000 pets die each year in house fires ❗️1,000 fires are started by pets each year Are you prepared in case of an emergency? Here are some helpful tips. 1. Create an emergency kit. - Contents should include medicine, medical records, leashes (or carriers), food, waste bags, emergency contact information, toys, bedding, and current photos in case your pet is lost. 2. Practice taking your pets with you during an emergency. -Include them in your family plan for an emergency. Make sure you have a plan for where you and/ or your pets will stay will help keep you calm. 3. Keep identification on your pet. -Make sure pets are wearing tags with your information and are microchipped. #petsafety #firesafety #petfiresafetyday
