Will AI help or hurt cybersecurity? Generative AI is fed with information. Feed it with a list of known vulnerabilities, and in theory, it can be used to develop new attack vectors or ideas on how to scale attacks. It could even be used to run an ROI analysis on different attack scenarios, making the offensive use of AI a major cybersecurity threat. On the flip side, the defensive use of AI is growing rapidly.
