As we close out a year marked by success and personal achievement, I want to take a moment to reflect on the journey we’ve shared. The past year has been rewarding, but the upcoming year is not just another day in the office—it’s an opportunity for continued growth, bigger challenges, and even greater achievements. In the year ahead, I look forward to seizing new opportunities and facing fresh challenges that will propel us all forward. As we pursue these goals, I encourage each of you to be a role model and a leader within your own right. Leadership isn’t about doing the work for others—it’s about helping others learn how to do it themselves. It’s about guiding our colleagues, empowering them to reach their full potential, and inspiring them to succeed beyond what they thought was possible. Our success will always be rooted in teamwork. Remember, there is no “I” in team, but there is a “m-e.” Every team member brings unique strengths and ideas to the table. After reading this book, we saw that the values we had were no longer being practiced in our daily work, as the company now faces different circumstances. Values can’t just be a list of nice-sounding phrases to post on LinkedIn—they need to reflect who we are and the behaviors we want to cultivate in our team. So, we decided to rethink and rebuild. We held a workshop with our managers, inviting them to read the book and co-create a set of cultural principles that genuinely represented us. The result was something we called “Fourvalues”—four guiding virtues that are not just beliefs but actions that define us every day.
