Meritage’s employee resource group MAGIC (Multicultural Awareness Grows Inclusive Culture) celebrated Pride Month throughout the month of June, and today hosted an educational session featuring Nate Rhoton, CEO of one-n-ten, a non-profit organization delivering services to LGBTQ+ youth in Arizona. Nate spoke about the needs and experiences of LGBTQ+ youth and the different ways one-n-ten offers resources and support. Brian Kittle CGP,CSP, Orlando Division President, then led a Q&A session with Nate where Meritage team members were able to learn more about the LGBTQ+ community and the important role of allies. The session was very informative and emotional for many. As one team member shared, “I cannot tell you how appreciative I am to work with you, a Division President, who is willing to be the face of a Pride Event. My heart just exploded today!” Meritage is proud to support our LGBTQ+ employees and the community.
What a powerful Pride Month event! Kudos to Meritage for fostering open dialogue and education. Brian Kittle CGP,CSP's leadership in this shows true commitment to inclusivity. These initiatives make a real difference in creating a supportive workplace for all.
