Supervisor & Transformational Career Coach empowering professionals to grow & expand positive impact | SUPERVISION | CAREER COACHING | TRAINING |
🍀 Group is a source of empowerment🍀 Because: 🌱 Each member's experiences are resources that help view our own dilemmas from different perspectives. 🌱 By listening to others, we gain a deeper understanding of our current situation. 🌱 We receive reflections on our thoughts and feelings from fellow group members. 🌱 We perceive and appreciate our uniqueness more. 🌱 We understand that our challenges and intense emotions are not unique to us alone. 🌱 We experience closeness and support. YET: 🍀 In the group, we are vulnerable because: Opening up is a serious challenge that requires: 🌱A sense of security 🌱 Trust in ourselves, fellow group members, and the group leader. 🍀 This week, as a trainer I had the opportunity to spend two days with an amazing training group, exploring the theme of group career counseling as part of Innowise's career counselor training program. 🍀 To truly experience the empowering effect of the group and the weight of vulnerability, on the first day, we engaged in group counseling with wonderful ladies focusing on professional self-confidence. 🍀 The insights gained by both group members and myself were profound, empowering, and brought us closer together. Stepping into the circle isn't easy, yet… 🍀 Sharing is a gift: the more permission we give ourselves to be vulnerable, the greater the empowering impact of the group. 🙏 I am still moved by the shared journey! #trainer #careercoach #careercounselling #groupcoaching #empowerment #vulnerability #selfdevelopment

9moThank you for the share, Merit Luik! The magic of vulnerability! It helps us create real connections and grow personally. But it's also challenging as it requires stepping out of our comfort zone and facing our fears. A paradox - while showing vulnerability is a great strength, in reality we might perceive it differently within ourselves. How do you help people open up in a group?
