EPA is building WaterSense® as a national brand for water efficiency. That brand is more than just a product label; it is a symbol that represents the importance of water efficiency in the US. Making WaterSense® labeled products, new homes, and services the preferred choice among consumers will help preserve water supplies for future generations, save on utility bills, and protect the environment. But EPA can’t achieve these goals alone. For decades SpillSmart Drain Wardens have been a hugely popular drain filter. Stormwater filtration is key to proactively play a part in minimising environmental impact by preventing harmful pollutants from reaching sensitive habitats. For businesses with stormwater drains on site, a SpillSmart Drain Warden is a ‘no brainer decision’. They are effective, economical, take little effort to install and require no effort apart from a periodical inspection before replacement. Read more... https://lnkd.in/g3DKXVHD

Collaborative project converts quarry into #sustainable #water resource for eight utilities You ever wonder why I post about how other states are handling water supply development and water management? For one a place like Florida can show us what they’ve done in their coastal areas. We have coastal areas. A place like Arizona is dry. We have large swaths of dry lands and desert. Both of those places are growing and water is a limiting factor. Why talk about the division of the Colorado River? Because multiple states are competing for and settling for less of that river water. We have an agreement with #Mexico to get #Rio #Grande water but they are woefully behind in deliveries. We are considering produced water, as is New Mexico. Florida is using depleted quarries for water storage? Might that work for us? Anser Advisory Robert Sheets https://lnkd.in/gceBn6jE

We heard it was #StormwaterAwarenessWeek 🌧️ A large part of our mission to create products for a cleaner, safer, and more sustainable world falls under the umbrella (see what we did there?) of stormwater management. One of those products is the Ultra-Drain Guard®, which has largely impacted how industrial facilities, construction sites, and municipalities are able to protect the water system from stormwater run-off that likely carries oil, eroded sediments, debris and fuel contaminants from cars. We offer various models of the Ultra-Drain Guard®, making it easy to find one that suits your application need. Check out this line of products here: https://lnkd.in/gpCYJpGU #stormwatermanagement #stormwaterawarenessweek #constructioncompliance #erosioncontrol #environmentalsustainablity
