9 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐠𝐨, 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐀𝐭𝐮𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬, 𝐦𝐲 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐦𝐲 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐨. Spinal cord injury was something entirely new to me, and I didn't comprehend the challenges and emotions associated with it. At that time, I began seeking out help That's when I stumbled upon Dr. Ketna Mehta. Her work at the Nina Foundation - India opened my eyes to a whole new perspective on disabilities, especially spinal cord injury. When we had to make the decision for Atul's colostomy surgery after our marriage in 2022, Ketna ji was the first person we sought guidance from. And you know, it's not only us but her tireless efforts have touched the lives of countless people like us. She has dedicated her life to helping individuals facing similar health challenges to overcome their mental fears, providing them with essential rehabilitation support, and more. I am grateful to host her at my podcast episode E11. She made me believe yet again that life is for many more things. 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐞𝐩𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧: 1.
