According to lore in Hauntii's world, all souls end up in Eternity and no ghost can truly die. The narrative centers around the ghost Hauntii, whom you control to explore Eternity for its secrets and the mysteries surrounding the Eternians, a race of glowing creatures that guide lost souls. The game design and mechanism use a twin-stick shooter framework for its gameplay but emphasize exploration and puzzle-solving over straight combat. Set to launch on the 23rd of May, 2024, Hauntii is seemingly ambitious with promises to be an immersive adventure that combines elements of action, puzzle-solving, and exploration, all set within a beautifully crafted spectral world.
