Because due to several environmental benefits it offers: 1.Energy Efficiency: PEBs are designed to maximize energy efficiency through better insulation, efficient lighting systems, and natural lighting strategies, reducing overall energy consumption. 2. Reduced Waste: PEBs are manufactured off-site in a controlled environment, leading to less waste generation during construction compared to traditional buildings. 3. Material Efficiency: They typically use materials efficiently, minimizing the use of resources like steel and reducing environmental impact. 4. Durability: PEBs are often designed for longevity and require less maintenance, which reduces lifecycle environmental impacts. 5. Adaptability: These buildings can often be expanded or modified easily, reducing the need for new construction and further minimizing environmental impact. These factors collectively contribute to the perception of Pre-Engineered Buildings as environmentally friendly or "Green" buildings.
